ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Ernest Hosking has 40 years of successful experience providing, fiscal, strategic and operations leadership in unique, varied and challenging situations. He heads up Titan Management Consultants.
He is a highly experienced Board Level CEO and now, a Business & Leadership Consultant and an Executive and Team Coach. He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant.
He is the former CEO of the RedTag Division of BMA International FZE, a major value fashion retailer in the GCC region and beyond. He was CEO for 13 years, rebranding and repositioning the business and taking it from a small underperforming operation to a highly successful multi-million US$ business across 2 brands and now one of the major retail players in the region.
He is strong on strategy, turnarounds, repositioning and rebranding and has led many business improvement and efficiency projects during his tenure including a major end to end supply chain project as well as being involved in leadership development initiatives. Under his leadership, from its humble beginnings, RedTag was awarded the Most Admired Value Retailer in Fashion in the GCC for 2016. He was also involved in setting and modelling the company’s culture and integrating a culturally and gender diverse workforce into the organisation.
He has a very good understanding of the nuances of doing business in the GCC region and of the rapid and disruptive changes that are occurring. He has been featured numerous times in the GCC press and magazines.
Post his retirement from this position Ernest has set up his own Consulting Company in Dubai as a Management, Business and Leadership Consultant and Executive Coach. He is collaborating with a number of other businesses in pursuing these endeavours.
Prior to relocating to Dubai, Ernest worked as a Consultant in Investment Banking in South Africa where he held numerous Non-Executive Director positions and performed the function of a Management Consultant to many Private Equity Investments.
He commenced his Fashion Retail career with a listed company in South Africa – the Mr Price Group where he was appointed Joint Managing Director of one of their Trading Divisions and also held a Director position in the listed holding company.
Ernest is extremely passionate about business issues especially in crafting and implementing successful strategies. He is very well versed in end to end Supply Chain processes especially as they concern the Retail Industry. His interests include development of leadership in business and the effective empowerment of teams especially in culturally diverse organisations. He remains well versed in future business and retail trends especially the impact that changes in technology bring. He enjoys working with Millennials and using his wisdom and experience in mentoring and coaching and embracing the changes they bring. He also maintains a high level of health and fitness.
He holds an Honours degree in Bachelor of Accounting Science and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa working in both South Africa and London before leaving the Accounting Profession and pursuing his interest in business.
Kelvin Tayfield
Kelvin is a finance and MBA graduate with over thirty years of banking, financial management, VAT and consulting experience. The past thirteen years have been spent in the GCC.
He has been involved in some strategic change management initiatives and start-ups in developing economies. He headed a very successful Corporate Banking change initiative in a major Saudi bank.
This role included competitor analysis, customer analysis, and strategic plans, product development, policy and procedure development, marketing and training. Subsequently, he joined a GCC start-up bank and was responsible for many projects across strategy, product, policy and process development in addition to business development.
Kelvin has been involved in several large regional syndications, structured finance and project finance deals as well as restructuring arrangements in the GCC. He has also been involved in financial services mergers as well as an acquisition of a commercial bank.
Kelvin’s consulting experience has covered various industries including services, manufacturing, education, and aviation.

GB is a seasoned business professional with 20+years’ successful track record in large cap, well diversified companies such as Proctor & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson and Smith & Nephew, covering roles from process engineering to product management, strategic marketing and general management. Geographies covered include Middle East, China, Korea, Asia Pacific and Australia.
His experience includes but is not limited to: Strategic Marketing (well diversified within healthcare), Regional Management (Middle East, Turkey and Africa) and Country Management of a variety of different businesses (Russia, China, Australia, Korea etc.).
Throughout his career, GB has led a wide array of key projects in corporate restructuring/turnaround, start-up businesses as well as M&A and post-merger integration. His strength and interest lie in corporate strategy, competitive business unit strategy and marketing. With years of experience in the position to “run businesses”, he has built a keen sense of crossover management between strategy and execution.

GB acquired his MBA degree from Harvard Business School, with a concentration in corporate strategy and general management. He was awarded the highly coveted Fulbright Scholarship for his study at Harvard. Prior to that, GB graduated from Seoul National University in Korea, majoring in Chemical Engineering (Cum Laude).
